Under the direction of Master Distiller Lorena Vásquez, it benefits from a further two years' ageing in French oak barrels that have contained Cognac. This unique process gives Rum Zacapa XO its rich, unrivalled taste, marked by subtle notes of almond and vanilla. The result is a perfectly balanced rum, combining sweetness, spice and fruit.

Ron Zacapa has struck again with a new version of his Coffret XO! Discover a beautiful decanter, topped with a gold stopper and presented in a gold case with a thousand reflections. And don't forget the two tasting glasses engraved with the distillery's name, so you can enjoy it at your leisure.

The nose of this Rum Zacapa XO strikes a fine balance between the woody notes of oak and the sweetness of caramel, roasted nuts and marzipan. A touch of freshness suggests orange peel. On the palate, sweetness is the order of the day as fruit and spice blend harmoniously, offering aromas of black cherry, chocolate, date and prune, enhanced by subtle notes of clove and cinnamon. The finish is light and delicate, with hints of dried mango, raspberry and ginger. What a delight!
