Liqueur d'Elixir was created in 2005 to celebrate the 400 years of the delivery of the manuscript of the Long Life Elixir by the Duke of Estrées to the Chartreux Fathers. His recipe is inspired by what was called table elixir or health liqueur in the 19th century.
