The coulour of Domaine de Montcalmes is a pretty dark red, the nose is subtlety and elegantly balanced what it looks like a good Burgundy. This is a very classy Languedoc.
Situated on 22 ha on the municipalities of Puéchabon, Aniane, St-Jean de Fos and St-Saturnin of Lucian, the Domain of Montcalmès is managed by Frédéric Pourtalié with her sister Muriel. He pulls his name of the hamlet of Montcalmès. This family exploitation produces are first red in 1999. The Domain produces red wines in naming Terrasses of Larzac and white wines in Coteaux du Languedoc.
