Pierre Jean Villa, wine grower in Côte Rotie and Olivier Decelle installed their cellar in a building of 1880 in the Nuits Saint Georges, in Burgundy. Domaine Decelle Villa vineyard is cultivated in biological vine growing to protect the expression of soils. With 5 hectares of vineyards, they select grapes the best plots of land of Burgundy to make quality wines. About twenty vintages are produced, we no longer present the famous Corton-Charlemagne or Nuits-Saint-Georges, Meursault or Pommard vintages. All of these wines are representative of the appellations, tasty and fruity, with a tendency towards cherries.
Domaine Decelle Villa produces exceptional red and white wines in Hautes Cotes de Beaune, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru, Chorey-Lès-Beaune and Côte de Nuits Village appellations. Decelle Villa is one of the largest estates in Burgundy! Pinot Noir accounts for more than three quarters of Domaine Decelle Villa, Chardonnay completes the whole and the vines grow on mainly clay-limestone soils. They therefore conscientiously linger on each plot of Domaine Decelle Villa in order to get the best out of it.
