The original idea behind Gigi en Provence was to create a gin capable of stirring the aromas and thus creating an unforgettable memory or sensation. With this in mind, Gigi Gin was created with the expertise of Philippe Laclie of the Bercloux distillery, to capture the very essence of Provence.
Made from the herbs of the Massif des Maures, this gin evokes the carefree scents of the garrigue and the warmth of the sun. Distilled from wheat alcohol, it reveals all the quintessence of Provence: in addition to juniper, coriander, rosemary, olive oil, maniguette, lemon zest and violet combine to offer a surprising aromatic experience.
The sommelier info
On the nose, Gigi en Provence first reveals an explosion of floral violet scents, followed by juniper and spices, mingling with a touch of fresh lemon. Then olive notes subtly reveal themselves.
On the palate, this Gin offers a round, silky texture, rich in aromas. Lemon and juniper take center stage, accompanied by the fresh flavors of rosemary and coriander. The long, elegant finish hints at maniguette and lemon zest.
Gigi en Provence is committed to preserving its authenticity and spirit of conviviality. The wheat used for the alcoholic base and the botanicals (juniper berries, coriander, lemon peel, rosemary, olive oil and violets) are all organically grown, guaranteeing a pure gin, free from chemical residues and pesticides.
