This second wine of Château du Tertre, Les Hauts du Tertre Rouge is derived from a selection of the younger vines. This careful selection gives the bottle a beautiful aromatic complexity with notes of both spicy and fruity The purple color is a beautiful effect. On the nose, aromas of cassis , blackberry, black cherry , wild strawberry . On the palate the wine is full of silky, mellow tannins with a long, spicy finish.

It is Pierre Mitchell, Irish trader, who in 18th century created Château du Tertre, the very beautiful property of the naming Margaux.
