The domain

The name of the Domain of Sarrins pulls its origin of the word "Saracens". In 11th century, a leader Saracen killed during one of the numerous raids led towards the hinterland would have been buried there - according to the local legend - " dressed in his golden armor ". After their retreat, the name grew shorter, over the centuries, in "Les Sarrins". Situated in the Var, near Lorgues, the vineyard of the Domain of Sarrins covers 25 hectares in the hills of saint Antonin’s village of the Var.
