The vineyard from Anjou is essentially situated around the cities of Angers and Saumur. The naming AOC Anjou is reserved for red and white still wines. Chenin is the main vine associated with the Chardonnay and with the Sauvignon for white wines endowed with a big aromatic sharpness of apples and with citrus fruits. Red wines of the AOC Anjou, stemming from some Cabernet Franc and from some Cabernet Sauvignon, possess a supple and round character with fruity and floral aromas and silky tannins.

Château du Breuil Clos du Frère Etienne is a white Anjou in 100 % Chenin, rich with elegance. Its particular green and purple schist terroir gives it depth and aromatic intensity, as well as its southern orientation facing the Layon. This cuvée is made from vines aged 15 on average.
