Jean de Pontac bought the noble house of Haut-Brion, what is going to give the big vineyard the fame of which is going to be to immortalize by 4 families. The Gascon place-name " Haut-Brion " indicates the rocky terrace situated between 2 brooks, Peugue and Snake. It is in 1935 when the Dillon family takes back the domain. Today, it is Robert de Luxembourg who manages the Château Haut-Brion since 2008.
