Château Pichon Comtesse Lalande
The vineyard of Pichon-Longueville Comtesse of Lalande extends over 85 hectares. He makes figure of exception within the naming Pauillac because 11 hectares are on the municipality of Saint Julien. He benefits from a soil constituted of grave garonnaises on clay, on whom are crashed the vines of 35 years of age on average. His grape variety consists of 45 % of Cabernet Sauvignon, of 35 % of Merlot, 12 % of Cabernet Franc and 8 % of Petit Verdot. The House of Champagne Louis Roederer, who become an owner in 2007, assures the continuity of the spirit of the women who converted into wine these wines for multiple decades.
