Domaine Leos is a 41-hectare olive and wine estate located in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, in Provence. This Leos wine estate, created by Patrick Bruel about ten years ago, produces committed and very qualitative products from all points of view...
What does Leos mean? It is the contraction of Léon and Oscar, the names of Mr. Bruel's two children. Motivated by three main development axes, the Domaine de Leos is part of a particular approach: "to develop and maintain a holistic ecosystem, and to give birth to remarkable products". These axes are the following: to create products of character and high quality, to allow the consumer to have access to pleasure products that go back to the basics of tastes, textures, flavors and finally, that these products are good for the health, eco-responsible and bring people together. These are great objectives that were already conveyed with grocery products such as jams, olive oils and a line of cosmetic products made from ingredients harvested on the Leos property. In 2023, the range of rosé wines will enter the market with the Augusta vintage, and for 2024, the goal is to open a boutique hotel and restaurant in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue to welcome even more people to this timeless universe.
At Domaine Leos, biodiversity has always been very important. The principles of organic farming have been applied for years and the estate is currently in conversion to organic farming, with certain principles of biodynamics being integrated into this approach little by little. For the moment, Leos is classified in HVE 3 and this is just the beginning. As far as cosmetics are concerned, the products offered respect very precise standards and are classified as "clean beauty", that is to say that they are 95 to 100% natural and elaborated from active ingredients and plant extracts. Moreover, recyclable and/or recycled materials are used as much as possible, glass is favored and if not necessary, packaging is avoided. Domaine de Leos is a member of the "Positive & Villages-Monde Foundation", and regularly collaborates with "La Clef des Champs", in order to promote the reintegration of the unemployed.
It's official, the Domaine de Leos is releasing its first rosé wine for the 2022 vintage. In association with the Maison & Domaine Les Alexandrins and more particularly Nicolas Jaboulet, Patrick Bruel has developed this project to conceive an identity rosé wine. The Augusta cuvée (named after his mother), reflects the terroir of areas still preserved in Provence, notably the Alpilles, Luberon and Ventoux Nicolas Jaboulet also embarked on the adventure to have the chance to produce great rosé wines, something he had not been able to do on his terroirs in the Rhone Valley, while respecting values of respect, commitment to ecology and economy. Leos now offers us a singular rosé wine, of incredible purity and expressiveness. Augusta is a rosé wine with floral and white fruit notes, the first nose is extremely seductive. In the mouth, the fullness and roundness are balanced by a lively attack. The length and the persistence in mouth of this rosé are remarkable. The famous Domaine de Leos by Patrick Bruel has struck hard for this first vintage!
