Whisky Ledaig 10 years Single Malt

On the nose, Ledaig 10 ans reveals a dominant peatiness, both smoky and vegetal. On the palate, the attack gives way to a powerful, spicy body, where smoke blends harmoniously with fruity notes of pear and baked apple. The aromatic palette is well-balanced, with hints of sandalwood and black pepper. The soft, delicate finish offers a singular vision, far removed from that traditionally associated with Islay.

The Tobermory distillery also offers another single malt under the name Ledaig, a reference to the ancient village whose name it also bears. This single malt is distinguished by a more pronounced peatiness, thanks to the use of malt from Port Ellen on Islay. Ledaig is both refined and peaty, aged in oak casks in ancient cellars. Its unique character is forged by the dark, aromatic waters of the Isle of Mull and by malted barley dried exclusively with peat, giving rise to a vibrant whisky.
