Tequila 818 embodies the marriage between traditional agave and exceptional maturity: it is made from 100% carefully selected Weber blue agave from the Jalisco region of Mexico. Kendall Jenner, founder of the 818 brand, wanted to offer premium products, and this tequila certainly fits the bill with its bright colour with golden highlights and a smooth yet structured palate.
On the nose, the aromas open with vanilla, honey and meringue, while on the palate, the roasted agave comes into its own, enlivened by notes of caramel and deep vanilla. The finish is elegantly long, with hints of cooked agave, melted caramel and pecans, leaving an enveloping sensation on the palate. Accessible yet sophisticated, this tequila can be enjoyed neat or with a very slight dash of water to release its subtleties, and is equally suited to intimate tasting or sharing.
