Médoc is a vast region of the vineyard of Bordeaux which is bounded by the Jalle de Blanquefort (in the North of the urban area of Bordeaux) up to the Point of Grave, and of the estuary of the Gironde in the forest of Landes. The Médoc counts numerous famous naming: Haut Médoc, Saint-Estèphe, Pauillac, saint Julien, Margot, Médoc. Red wines arise from Cabernet-Sauvignon, from some Merlot and from some Cabernet-franc. They present solid tannins to the complex aromatic bouquets of red berries.
