The vineyard of Bordeaux is the vineyard grouping all the vineyards of the department of the Gironde, in the Southwest of France. With its 60 naming, the region of Bordeaux represents the vastest French vineyard of AOC. The main red vines are the Merlot, the Cabernet-Sauvignon and the Cabernet-Franc. For the whites, they are Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle. With a production of 90 % of red wines, Bordeaux is one of the most beautiful shop windows of the French wine today.
