ALSACE

The amateurs who look for before any wines to accompany the dishes will find in Alsace count of dry, outstandingly aromatic white wines, with a lot of character and at generally reasonable prices. The wine growers of Alsace obtained the AOC in 1962. The vines of the AOC Alsace are among 7: Muscat, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer. There are also 2 assemblies with Edelzwicker and the Gentil. 90 % of the production is some white wine.
