MAURY ET BANYULS

The region Languedoc-Roussillon offers a whole variety of strengthened sweet wines which matter among the most interesting under the value for money in Europe. The most famous are the ones of Banyuls (on the South coast of Perpignan) and of Maury (on the North coast of Perpignan). AOC Maury are heady and colored in the aromas of Morello cherries. Wines of the AOC Banyuls have flavors of cooked fruits, prunes and roasting.
