LA CÔTE DE BEAUNE

The Côtes de Beaune is a vineyard in the department of the Côte-d'Or. The vineyard of the Côtes de Beaune produces prestigious dry white wines and softer red wines. Almost all the naming of the Côtes de Beaune produce wines stemming from some Chardonnay and from some Pinot noir. Only AOC Volnay and Pommard produce only red wines. This vineyard counts Grand Crus (Corton-Charlemagne or Montrachet) and Premier Crus (Meursault). This region is considered as the nugget of white wines in the world.
