The sommelier Info
The Domaine Moulinier Saint Chinian Roug has a beautiful purple robe with garnet reflections. Intense nose, very concentrated and full of freshness with black fruits and wild berries fragrances. Vivid attack with very suple and fine tannins. Velvety aromas in mouth and balanced finish.
Guy Moulinier resumes the family exploitation in 1978. He dashes into a politics of Great wine forerunner and plants the first Syrah to Saint Chinian. Stéphane Moulinier, son of Guy, joined the domain in 1994. Situated in 1km of Saint-Chinian, the vineyard of 40 ha is exploited since 5 generations which produces wines classified in AOC Saint Chinian. Vines used for red and rose wines are Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. As for white wines, it is Viognier which is used.
