Lively and fresh, it reveals irresistible exotic aromas of lychee, mangosteen and passion fruit, which blend harmoniously with delicate floral and spicy notes. This perfectly balanced wine has great finesse both on the nose and on the palate. In its youth, it offers a beautiful aromatic palette, but will be all the more exceptional after a few more years in the cellar.
Clos Saint Landelin is located in Rouffach (at the southern end of the Vorbourg Grand Cru). The terroir and exposure are ideal for optimal ripening of the grapes. For the Vendanges Tardives wines, a meticulous selection is made, retaining only overripe grapes, those showing passerillage or the presence of noble rot (Botrytis Cinerea). As a result, these wines have a generous, highly perfumed profile, all the more so when aged on fine lees.

Today, it is the children Véronique and Thomas Muré, representing the wine growers’ 12th generation in the family, that manage the domain. Everything began in 1650 with Michel Muré who settled down to Westhalten, next to Rouffach, to cultivate the vine. In 1935, they were able to acquire Clos St Landelin, vineyard of 12 ha which remained the monopoly of the family.
