Distilled from molasses, it is first aged for three years in tropical climates in ex-bourbon barrels, promoting rich oxidation and a unique aromatic concentration. Transported to France, it is carefully blended by Cellar Master Jérôme Tessendier before being refined for two years: first in medium-grain French oak barrels, then in fine-grain barrels.
