The domain

Château Sainte Marguerite owns about 170 hectares of vineyards located in front of the sea, in La Londe-les-Maures in Provence. The land of the estate was already cultivated during the Antiquity, however it was really founded in 1929 by a concert performer named André Chevillon. It was bought in 1977 by the Fayard family, who had a big crush on this property. Since 2021, Pernod Ricard has acquired shares in the company and has made some changes. Domaine Sainte Marguerite has been certified organic since the 2000s and also vegan since 2015, and was one of the first to guarantee wines without animal inputs.
