Whisky Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair Single Malt

WhiskyBunnahabhain Stiùireadair, whose name means “Helmsman” in Scottish Gaelic, pays tribute to the distillery's helmsman, featured on every bottle. This vibrant Single Malt, influenced by the sea thanks to its ageing in coastal cellars, is selected by Kirstie, Bunnahabhain's master blender. This whisky is aged in first- and second-fill sherry casks, from a variety of ages and locations, to recreate the effect of a “sea storm” in the glass. With its notes of caramel, nuts, dried fruit and light spices, Stiùireadair is distinguished by its roundness and maritime character.


This creamy, maritime whisky offers a nose rich in aromas of butterscotch, vanilla, brine and spices. On the palate, it is fruity with notes of cinnamon, clove and a subtle salty touch, while the finish is long and persistent, marked by flavors of toffee, nuts and dried fruit.
