2nd Pez is the second wine of the superb Château de Pez in Saint Estèphe appellation. The nose is deep and intense, very focused on black fruits and dried flowers. The mouth is structured and ample with a beautiful texture recalling velvet. We also find a very fine woody, a second wine very pleasant to taste.

Château de Pez is one of the oldest vineyards of the Saint Estèphe appellation. Created in 1452, it passed into the hands of various owners before being bought back in 1995 for the Maison de Champagne Louis Roederer. Today it is a 38-hectare property with diverse terroirs of limestone, marnous sands and gravel giving depth and richness to its wines. A fabulous Bordeaux wine estate to discover as soon as possible!

The domain

On the West of the municipality of Saint-Estèphe, the Château de Pez, with its 39 ha, competes to Calon Ségur for the privilege to be the oldest vineyard of Bordeaux. In 1995, the House of Champagne Louis Roederer acquires the domain and puts back on the center stage the best wines of Saint-Estèphe. Wines of the Château de Pez in naming Saint-Estèphe are marked by a tannic structure of a big wealth, carpentered and of an aromatic sharpness.
