The Les Molates Chardonnay opens with fresh notes of white fruit, notably pear, complemented by more mineral and subtly floral nuances. The overall impression remains precise and restrained, with a particularly alluring sense of purity.

The domain

Based in Sainte-Agnès, in the southern part of the Jura wine region, Domaine des Marnes Blanches is run by Pauline and Géraud Fromont. The estate takes its name from the white marl soils found in part of its vineyards and works with traditional Jura grape varieties through a range of distinctive cuvées, with particular attention paid to individual vineyard sites. Their approach produces precise, vibrant wines that express the diversity of the Jura's soils with remarkable personality.
