This Magnum de Ganevat Le Carré Blanc in Savagnin comes from old vines planted on a terroir of grey lias marl and iridescent marl. It has been vinified in ½ muids airtight (ouillé) for 3 years, naturally without intervention, indigenous yeasts, unfined, unfiltered without the addition of so2.

The Carré Blanc savagnin from Ganevat is rather comforting with its notes of beurre noisette and tarte tatin, but of course, as with all Ganevat wines, the sharpness is never far away.

You could compare it to a sharp blade slicing through a slice of salted butter, but okay, I digress...
