Produced in Barbados, Mount Gay Eclipse Rum is distilled in traditional copper stills and then aged in former American whiskey barrels. This gives it a rich aromatic palette with notes of fresh vanilla, almond, ripe banana, and dark chocolate. Eclipse is also the benchmark for Trudiann Branker, Mount Gay's master blender.

Created to celebrate the solar eclipse of 1910, it embodies all the ancestral expertise of this long-established rum distillery. Its amber color precedes a richly aromatic nose of vanilla, tropical fruits, caramel, and spices. On the palate, it is both round and balanced, with a slightly woody and smoky finish.
