Volnay is a French wine of protected designation of origin, produced on the major part of the municipality of Volnay and a small part of the municipality of Meursault, in Côte-d'Or. The AOC Volnay is only produced in red wines. Wines of Volnay have a rather feminine image thanks to their sharpness and of their bouquet of currant, cherry and spices.
