Whisky Dalmore 15 years

This Dalmore 15 Year Old Whiskey is a single malt from the Highlands that follows in the refined tradition of the distillery founded in 1839, still marked by its iconic royal stag. It is first aged for 12 years in ex-Bourbon American white oak casks, then divided equally between three types of sherry casks (Amoroso, Oloroso Apostoles, and Matusalem) for a further three years. The nose combines peach and baked apples, brioche, sourdough bread, orange zest, and fresh herbs. On the palate, the texture is silky, with notes of malt, spices (ginger, cinnamon, cloves), orange and chocolate intermingling; the finish is very long, rich and dense with coffee, enhanced by a subtle vanilla woodiness.
