NOSE : Powerful nose, fruity and well malted.

MOUTH : The attack is first mellow, then a great vivacity is coming with a balanced basis. Cereals with peated notes are mixed with vanialla, caramel with a finish more exotic.

FINISH : Persisting final, mainly on the rum. The unlikely meeting between the gaelic world and the caribbean one makes a round and great whisky.

The domain

Gaelic whiskies were made and elaborated by Sir Ian Noble, farmer gentleman of Skye island, at the West-North of Scotland. Very attached to the celtic traditions, this aristocrat, defender of the language and the gaelic culture, got the idea of invented specific whiskies for his compatriots. Mac Na Mara which actually means "the sea’s son" in gaelic is a 5 or 7 aged blended whisky composed by 30% of malte.
