The Matsui Sakura Cask is a Japanese Whisky with a rich, gourmand nose, elegant with notes of white flowers and sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon. The palate has more character on the attack, then becomes rich and warm on the way to a long, floral finish.

The Matsui is the range of exceptional Single Malts produced by the Kurayoshi distillery. The Matsui Sakura Cask is a Single Malt aged in Sakura casks, the famous Japanese cherry tree, emblem of Japanese culture and symbol of the ephemeral beauty of life. After double distillation in Pot Still, this whisky is matured in Sakura casks in Tottori Prefecture, a natural environment ideal for aging. Finally, it is reduced with pure spring water from Mount Daisen, creating a refined, harmonious profile.
