Château Trigant is a particularly elegant Pessac Leognan, its notes of red berries are more than appreciated and the nose is flattering. On the palate, we let ourselves be driven by a persistent and a beautiful structure, notes of coffee come out on the finish. It is also known for its finesse and empyreumatic notes typical of the appellation Pessac Leognan.
From a confidential vineyard of 3.5 hectares belonging to the Seze family, Château Trigant owes its elegance to its diverse and varied soils of sands, gravel and clay-limestone. It is a cuvée that has aged 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels.

The domain
Clarence Dillon Wines is recognised as a merchant in Grands Crus Bordelais and makes it an unmissable reference for Place de Bordeaux. Clarence Dillon has exclusive partnerships to satisfy a French and international clientele.
In 2011, Clarence Dillon acquired Château Quintus, an emblematic property of Saint-Emilion. In 2013, Château Quintus bought a nearby property, then extended a third time in 2021. Together, these three properties form 45 hectares among the most qualitative of the appellation Saint Emilion: indeed, they are among the oldest and were cited in the Féret Guide as the “First Cru de Saint-Emilion” in the 1900s. For the anecdote, Quintus takes its name from the number 5 (V) since its plots naturally turn towards the four cardinal points and towards the sky.
In another style, Clarence Dillon presents the Château Tour Blanquet, which has been owned since 2003 by the Lamy family. It entrusted part of its plots to Cos d’Estournel, its prestigious neighbour. Its 3 hectares located on the beautiful Saint-Estèphe appellation offer soft wines with remarkably polished tannins. The vineyards of Tour Blanquet are on average 35 years old, a factor that significantly influences the complexity and depth of Château Tour Blanquet wines produced. A nice property to find at Clarence Dillon wines.
Château Trigant has been in the Sèze family since 1860, it has a strong family history and united all the professions that followed it: artists, navigators and explorers, among others. This confidential vineyard of 3.5 hectares on deep grave soils produces elegant wines, with well-integrated woodland. This estate was built by Philippe Trigant, a lawyer at the Bordeaux Parliament. Trigant offers the best of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and is added to the wide range of Domaine Clarence Dillon. Very representative of its terroir, this cuvée is balanced, supple and finely fruity.
