Pinot Gris Sélection de Grains Nobles Clos Saint Landelin is a dessert white wine with delicious aromas of candied fruit and bergamot, the finish is full of freshness. A very nice Pinot Gris that can be kept for up to 20 years.

Located in Rouffach, the Clos Saint Landelin, monopoly of the Muré family, covers an area of 12 hectares. It is the southern end of the Grand Cru Vorbourg. Its steep slopes of southern exposure require terraced cultivation. The soil is clay-limestone with many pebbles; the subsoil is formed by limestone sandstone of the Bajocian and limestone conglomerates of the Oligocene. The intense sunshine from which it benefits makes it a terroir of great typicity. This vineyard is worked in organic farming.

The domain

Domaine René Muré

Today, it is the children Véronique and Thomas Muré, representing the wine growers' 12th generation in the family, that manage the domain. Everything began in 1650 with Michel Muré who settled down to Westhalten, next to Rouffach, to cultivate the vine. In 1935, they were able to acquire Clos St Landelin, vineyard of 12 ha which remained the monopoly of the family.
