This red cuvee Riu of the domaine L'Infernal has a beautiful sherry robe with purple reflections. The nose is open on riped fruit and spicies notes. In the mouth, the wine is powerful with a lot of freshness. The finish is composed by violet and liquorice aromas. It is actually a simply elegant spanish wine.
This wine is served with
L'Infernal Riu red wine from the Priorat region will be tasted at 18 degrees on a grilled red meat or on a nice dish in sauce after an hour’s aeration.
The domain
The Trio Infernal is a project been born in 2002 in the Priorat introduced by 3 famous wine growers of the Valley of the Rhône. It is about Laurent Combier (Domain Combier, Crozes Hermitage), Peter Fischer (Castle Revelette, Aix-en-Provence) and of Jean-Michel Gérin (Domain Gérin, Côte-Rotie). After 20 years of friendship, they launched into a project in a new wine-producing region considered as producing magnificent wines to Torroja del Priorat. It is home-made wines which have for only purpose to bring to wines the purest possible expression around the concentration, around the elegance and around the freshness. The vineyard of 18 ha has vines traditional Mediterranean with Grenache and Carignan.
