A FAMILY HISTORY AND AN EXCEPTIONAL TERROIR
Located in Arconville in the heart of the Aube region, the Bernard Gaucher estate is a family adventure that dates back to the end of the 19th century, when the family began cultivating its first vines. However, it was not until the early 1980s that the house began to vinify its own champagnes, marking a decisive turning point towards autonomy and quality. Today, it is this generational heritage that carries the spirit of the house: a fine mastery of cultivation practices, a deep respect for the terroir of the Côte des Bar and constant attention to the grapes. The majority of the plots are planted with Pinot Noir, the flagship grape variety that gives structure and finesse to the cuvées, complemented by a portion of Chardonnay that brings elegance and liveliness.
