Domaine Laurent Combier
The history of Domaine Combier goes back up in 1936 when Camille Combier bought a property of 3 ha of vineyards. In 1952, the vineyard extends over 5 ha of whom a plot of land will be the Clos des Grives, in 1990. It is today, Laurent Combier who exploits the domaine of 25 ha as an independent wine grower. Domaine Combier is situated at the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. He also possesses 1 ha in Saint Joseph appellation. Wines of Domaine Combier develop a franchise and an elegance of the fruit, the aromas and the tannins.
Domaine Combier was a pioneer in organic farming in the Rhône Valley since Maurice Combier (Laurent’s father) converted all his crops into organic, following an allergy caused by a phytosanitary product. The Combier family therefore naturally turned to manual tillage of the soil, associated with the management of the lunar calendar, thus placing balance and precision at the heart of the life of the estate It is today, Laurent Combier who operates the Domaine Combier as an independent winemaker.
Domaine Laurent Combier presents three Crozes Hermitage: Cuvée L Laurent Combier, Cuvée Domaine and Crozes Hermitage Clos des grives, mineral and ample.
