Emile Balland

Emile Balland pulls of his family roots his anchoring on both sides of the Loire, in the vineyards of Sancerre and of the Hillsides of Giennois.
On the left bank, Balland works as wine grower from father to son since 1650, to Bué, renowned village of the vineyard native of Sancerre. On the right bank, it is in the village of his wife, Bonny on the Loire, that the father of Emile largely contributed to make the naming be reborn Hillsides of Giennois at the beginning of 1980s.
Fallen in tanks any young, it is naturally that Emile chose to become a wine grower in turn. First of all by turning to studies of vine growing and oenology, then from 1999, by creating its own domain in the naming Hillsides of Giennois (just coming to reach the AOC).
