Situated in Southern Burgundy, the vineyard extends over 40 ha distributed on 5 naming: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon Villages, Mâcon Fuissé, White Bourgogne and Juliénas. All the wines arise from the vine Chardonnay where the wine making is made according to the character of every plot of land. Wines of Fuissé are fine, elegant and powerful in the lineage of the Big Whites of Burgundy.
At Chateau de Fuissé, the soil is clay-limestone, the harvest is manual and each cuvée is aged and vinified separately. The work of the vine remains traditional in the context of reasoned viticulture. Indeed, Château Fuissé makes use of organic manure, the plots are worked individually to prevent soil erosion and conserve the precious soil of the Pouilly Fuissé appellation. Finally, the ageing lasts several months in oak barrels and gives the assurance of obtaining highly qualitative and renowned cuvées in South Burgundy.
