Olivier Leflaive

Olivier Leflaive possesses 120 ha of vines with a great majority of white wines stemming from three prestigious villages of the Côtes de Beaune: Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet and Meursault but also of Chablis and the Côte Chalonnaise. Olivier and Patrick Leflaive had the opportunity to take back the family Leflaive’s lands. Vineyards were cultivated according to the biodynamic criteria for approximately 20 years. Olivier Leflaive’s wines are Great wines of Burgundy among which some slept off such as Premier Cru Chassagne Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot or Premier Cru Puligny Montrachet Les Garennes.
Olivier’s grandfather, Joseph Leflaive, is the initiator of the expansion of the company Leflaive, a family farm of 35 hectares. In 1953, his son Joseph Régis and his brother Vincent took over the exploitation. Later, Olivier Leflaive, in turn, directed him, so that in 1985, the Olivier Leflaive Frères house with his brother. Meanwhile, his cousin Anne-Claude Leflaive was in charge of the company Leflaive. On April 1, 2010, Olivier decided to retire despite his deep attachment to the family domaine.
