With its dual maturation between the Caribbean and Spain, Dos Maderas 5+5 PX Rum offers a distinctive character. This blend of rums from Barbados and Guyana spends five years ageing in a tropical climate before reaching the cellars of Williams & Humbert in Jerez. There, it matures for another five years in casks previously used for sherry wines. The influence of Pedro Ximénez brings rich dried fruit, indulgent sweetness and delicate spice notes.

On the nose, dried fruits and candied raisins mingle with aromas of vanilla and caramel.

The palate is rich and velvety. Notes of fig, raisin and chocolate develop alongside woody and spicy nuances.

The tasting concludes with a long, warming finish, featuring candied fruit and cocoa.
