Established in 1703, Mount Gay is the oldest working rum distillery in the world. Rum Mount Gay Black Barrel follows a new recipe, made from dry molasses rums distilled in pot stills and patent stills for aged rums. This process gives it spicy, woody flavors, remarkable roundness and a delicate finish.

The nose of this Rum Mount Gay Black Barrel reveals aromas of raisins, black pepper and creamy vanilla. On the palate, spices dominate, with a strong presence of cinnamon, accompanied by a touch of licorice, caramel and vanilla. The finish is long and perfectly balanced.

This rum is matured for six months in heavily charred bourbon casks, a unique process that releases spicy, toffee aromas that are both balanced and bold.
