Sassicaia means “place of stones” in Italian, indeed it comes from a unique mosaic of limestone, clay and stony soils that are the unique signature of this cuvée elaborated by Tenuta San Guido. This Sassicaia elaborated by Tenuta San Guido is seductive and powerful, it shows flexibility and aromatic depth worthy of the greatest. Its finesse will leave no one indifferent, just like its charming aromas of black fruit, leather and wood, elegantly brought by its 25-month ageing in barrels (40% new wood, 40% barrels of one wine and 20% of two wines). Elegant tannins complete an exquisite mouth length.
