Santenay is a French wine of protected designation of origin, produced on a part of the municipality of Santenay, in the department of the Côte-d'Or. This vineyard produces 2 colors but red wines are majority elaborate with some pinot noir. White wines, rarer stemming from some Chardonnay, are fresh and strong with aromas of flowers and citrus fruits. Red wines of the AOC Santenay offer a bouquet which calls back flowers, red berries and licorice. Premier Crus are flexible and robust thanks to firm and discreet tannins.
