Whisky Kyoto Kuro Obi Black Belt

This Kyoto Kuro Obi Black Belt Whisky is a blend carefully crafted by the Kyoto Miyako Distillery, nestled in the mountains of Kyoto. It is matured in American oak casks, which give it its characteristic woody and vanilla aromas. Its aromatic profile opens with a rich nose combining vanilla, warm caramel, stone fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, the texture is silky smooth, revealing a harmony of ripe pear, caramelised apple and creamy vanilla, supported by a woody base. The long and persistent finish reveals subtle spices and well-integrated ripe fruit. This whisky, which won a gold medal at the 2021 International Spirits Challenge, reflects the combination of distilling expertise and the ancestral textile craftsmanship of Kyoto, embodied by its label adorned with traditional Nishijin-Ori fabric.
