Campredon is the name of Alain Chabanon's maternal family, a fitting tribute. A blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache on poor, stony soil.

The domain
Domaine Alain Chabanon was created in 1992 in Languedoc. These 17 ha of vineyards are situated on 5 municipalities (Jonquières, St André, Lagamas, St Saturnin and Montpeyroux). This arrangement allows to take advantage of numerous microclimates and of various grounds. In 2002, he dashes into the biological culture with a certification Ecocert then, a Biodynamic certification Demeter in 2011.
Over the years, Domaine Alain Chabanon has become a staple of Languedoc. Alain Chabanon succeeded in producing wines with impressive ageing potential. The ideal layout of the domaine allows him to use microclimates and different types of soils to his advantage. Since the release of the first vintage in 1992, Domaine Chabanon has been producing great wines in Languedoc, especially thanks to the old vines purchased in Montpeyroux. Indeed, Alain Chabanon left nothing to chance and went directly towards the elaboration of high-end vintages.
