The domain

Domaine de Fondreche extends over 38 ha on the village of Mazan, Mormoiron and Saint Pierre de Vassols. Domaine Fondreche wines express the philosophy of the domaine: to plant the right vine on the right soil, work in a manual way with the aim of producing great wines. These wines offer a minerality and a balance of a fresh fullbody wine between power and elegance. Fondreche vineyard is without a doubt one of greatest in Côte du Ventoux.
If Fondreche is strongly influenced by the lunar calendar, it is indeed because it strengthens the natural defences of its plots. Indeed, Domaine de Fondreche is characterized by strong air currents and thermal amplitudes allowing it to be part of the reference areas in wine of the Ventoux. The entire Fondreche vineyard is worked without weeding and biodynamic (no certification). The aim and philosophy of Sébastien Vincenti and Nanou Barthélémy are above all to produce «Identi-terres» wines! Domaine Fondreche Ventoux consists of three main plots defined according to production objectives: the historical plateau for the production of Fondreche rouge (soil of rolled pebbles, flint and crystalline but also calcareous surface of clay-sandy texture). The historical terroir of Domaine de Fondreche is also based on its islets of 9 hectares for the production of white Fondreche wine and rosé.
Domaine Fondreche vintages are red, white and rosé at an exceptional price/quality ratio to discover the domaine. The vintage Fondreche wine Persia in red and white is already more confidential and a big level of wine. Finally, the micro vintages Fondreche wine Il était une Fois and Divergente deserve to be waited a few years before enjoying these nectars.
