The domain
Domaine des Creisses, nestling between the sea and the mountains in the Languedoc department of Hérault, is run by Philippe Chesnelong with the expertise of Louis Mitjavile. Practising integrated viticulture, the estate covers some twenty hectares of varied soils, producing red wines renowned for their suppleness, deliciousness and depth. The cuvée Les Brunes, named after the dark volcanic soils of its plots, and the cuvée Les Creisses, considered to be one of the best wines in the region, are the jewels in the crown. Philippe Chesnelong strives to make the most of the terroir to produce great Pays d'Oc red wines.
