In the Languedoc region, Domaine des Creisses lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the region’s mountain ranges. From the late 19th century to the present day, it has had several owners. Les Creisses is run by Philippe Chesnelong, with the help and experience of Louis Mitjavile. The 20-hectare estate boasts a wide range of soil types, and the terroir expresses itself in the roundness, richness and depth of the red wines. The name "Les Brunes" comes from the dark volcanic soil in which the plots are planted. The cuvée Les Creisses is also an absolute must: density, freshness and depth. Philippe Chesnelong wants to make great red wines from the South of France and, better still, restore the Pays d’Oc to its former glory.
