The Provençal vineyard of Domaine Santa Duc produces red wines of character. Vines Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault is raised on two types of grounds by maintaining the biodiversity thanks to the organic farming. Since 1874, 5 generations managed Domaine Santa Duc and managed to bring up it to the rank of the biggest Gigondas. The Gras family is recognized today all over the world. Wines of Santa Duc are renamed in particular those in naming Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The name "Santa Duc" comes from the owl Grand-Duc who lives in the area. In 1985, Yves Gras took up the torch of his father Edmond and made the wines known internationally. He also bought plots in Châteauneuf-du-Pape to diversify his terroir. Benjamin then took over the direction of Domaine Santa Duc.
