Discover Le Pressoir Ambulant and its Le Trescol cuvée: the exceptional collaboration between Olivier Jullien and his friend Didier Michel, a winegrower in the Tarn region.
OLIVIER JULLIEN AND DIDIER MICHEL: A POWERFUL DUO
Le Pressoir Ambulant is an estate located in the Languedoc region, having acquired terroirs in Saint Georges de Luzencon, near Millau. Several vintages have already been produced, and Olivier Jullien, from the famous Mas Jullien, and his winemaker friend Didier Michel have decided to combine their ideas and expertise to produce a completely new type of wine: Trescol is not just a wine for pleasure...
THE SECRETS OF THE PRESSOIR AMBULANT
Le Pressoir Ambulant vines are cultivated according to the precepts of organic farming. No sulphur is used in the vinification process, and the wine is aged for 18 months in vats in the age-old cellars to ensure that each vintage is properly developed. In this part of the Languedoc, the vines benefit from a microclimate that offers great temperature variations between day and night, which are beneficial to the growth of the vines. Here, then, are all the secrets that these two passionate winemakers have used to produce Le Trescol.
DISCOVER THE FAMOUS TRESCOL
Like the cuvée that bears it, the name Trescol is highly original. It’s the brainchild of Olivier Jullien and his colleague Didier Michel, a key duo in the South of France with their Domaine du Pressoir Ambulant. This cuvée is a blend of Syrah, Gamay and Cabernet Sauvignon, a combination as surprising as it is delicious. It has all the ingredients of a good Languedoc wine: "fruit, intensity and immediate access, but not just that", according to Didier Michel. We have just one piece of advice for you: go for it with your eyes closed!
